Fermenting for Health Workshop – 12 Nov


With all the interest in gut health & queries about fermenting we have organised for Jane Maywood from Biodynamic Well-Being to talk about fermenting for health.

As Jane puts it “fermenting is a wonderful combination of science and art in your own kitchen!”. 

Jane will share her personal and wide experience of fermenting, the health benefits of fermented foods and will demystify the fermentation process for us.

Throughout the discussion there will be plenty of time for questions plus Jane will bring her own fermented produce along for tasting – Organic Bio-Beet Kvass, Bio-Kraut and Bio-Kraut Juice – and starter cultures for Kombucha, Milk Kefir and Cultured Vegetables. 

Jane will also bring along fermenting jars for purchase.

By the end of the night you will be ready and confident to start your own fermentation fun at home. 

This session is suitable for absolute beginners and for those who have already begun fermenting and have lots of questions.

Jane’s passion is for reconnecting people with their own innate “health and resources”. She does this through her private sessions, movement classes and fermented foods – designed to restore digestive health and resilience. Jane is a practicing Biodynamic Craniosacral therapist, Somatic Movement Teacher and trained Biodynamic grower and producer.

Together with her husband Fraser, they produce a variety of ferments under the Biodynamic Well-Being label.
