Red Lentil Dhal

Nutritious and delicious

  • 1 cups red lentils

  • 2 cups water

  • 5g pink salt

  • 4g Cumin Seeds

  • 160g tomatoes

  • Level teaspoon turmeric  

  • ½ teaspoon garam masala

  • ½ teaspoon cumin powder

  • ¼ teaspoon chili powder

Pour the water in a pan

Add in the cumin seeds and let simmer for a minute

Add the red lentils and all the spices

Simmer until the lentils are soft 

Add the tomatoes and simmer for 5 minutes

Garnish with coriander
