Drinking Coconut Blends
Over the past couple of weeks, Natures Harvest Juice Bar has added a variety of drinking coconut blends to the extensive list of super juices and smoothies on offer.
Drinking coconut water is the latest craze amongst athletes, celebrities and the health conscious.
While the thirst for coconut water may be relatively new in the west, people throughout Asia, the Pacific and South America have drunk coconut water for centuries. The Jamaicans drink it as a heart tonic and in India coconut water has been prescribed for everything from hiccups to kidney stones. In Sanskit, the coconut palm is known as kalp vriksha meaning a tree that gives all that is necessary for living.
Natures Harvest has a variety of of drinking coconut recipes on offer, ranging from pure coconut water straight from the nut, to coconut water and flesh blended with a variety of super foods.
